Health & Healthcare
I have been researching for the past ten years health disparities and discriminations and medical violence in reproductive care and breast cancer care.
I am the author of several research articles on these themes. My work has received the UAlbany Distinguished Dissertation Award, the Paris Podcast Festival Award for best Documentary, and the support of the City of Paris and the Fondation de France.
As a public speaker, I share my expertise on health and its intersections with gender with the general public and a wide-range of institutions. Some of my topics of expertise include women’s health, obstetric violence, the postpartum period and health disparities. I have also created a training for health professionals on medical racism (in French).
